Why these questions

  • Regular cleaning and how often are what build your round: they're flagged as the best leads.
  • What the water looks like (clear, cloudy, green, swampy) decides how long the first visit takes.
  • Pool type and size set the price per visit and the chemicals needed.
  • Trees nearby mean more leaves and more time per visit.
  • Access through the house only is flagged: arrange visits when someone is home.

3Set it up#

  1. In your dashboard, open Business details, choose Pool Cleaning as your industry and save. Your pool cleaning form is ready straight away, with the settings below in Settings.
  2. Settings → Form fields: remove services you don't offer (for example equipment repair).
  3. Settings → Prices & tax: add your weekly and fortnightly visit prices and a green pool clean-up.
  4. Settings → Page texts: say which areas you cover and which days you visit.

A fresh, bright look suits water and outdoor services; Classic is a friendly alternative.

  • Mention photo reports after each visit if you send them.

5Reading a request#

Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.

  • Service: Regular cleaning, Green or cloudy pool clean-up is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Water: Cloudy, Green / algae is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Size: Large is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Access: Only through the house is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Equipment: Losing water is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
  • Visit: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.

What to look at first

  • Regular cleaning is flagged hot: a customer for the whole season.
  • Green or swampy water is flagged: the first clean takes longer, so price it separately.
  • Losing water is flagged: there may be a leak to find.
  • Large pool is flagged hot: higher value per visit.

6Pricing your quote#

Price regular visits by pool size and frequency, and one-off jobs by the state of the water.

  • Regular service: a price per visit by size, weekly or fortnightly.
  • Green pool clean-ups: a set price, more for dark or swampy water.
  • Opening and closing: a set price per pool.
  • Chemicals: included or a monthly price.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
