Why these questions

  • Head height at the highest point decides if the loft is suitable as it is.
  • Conversion type and room use set the scale (a bedroom with bathroom is a bigger job).
  • Plans or permission tells you how far along the customer is.
  • Timeline shows ready buyers.

3Set it up#

  1. In your dashboard, open Business details, choose Loft Conversion as your industry and save. Your loft conversion form is ready straight away, with the settings below in Settings.
  2. Settings → Form fields: remove conversion types you don't build.
  3. Settings → Page texts: explain in the FAQ that planning rules depend on the area and the type of conversion.

  • Head height: Under 2.2 m (7.2 ft) is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Room: Bedroom with bathroom is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Timeline: As soon as possible is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Plans: shown for quick reading.

  • Neighbors: Not yet is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).

What to look at first

  • Bedroom with bathroom adds plumbing.
  • Plans approved means a customer who's ready.

6Pricing your quote#

Give a range from type and size, then a full quote after a survey.

  • A typical range per conversion type and floor area.
  • Add bathrooms, balconies and extra windows.
  • Include design and permission help if you offer it.
  • Final price after measuring.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.

7Messages to customers#

Your quote message is filled in automatically when you send a quote on WhatsApp. This is the starter template (Settings → Page texts):

Hi {name}, thank you for your request {ref} ({title}). Our price for the conversion is *{amount}*, based on what you've told us. We'll confirm it after the survey. Reply YES to book the survey. {business}
