Why these questions

  • Locked out now is flagged hot: whoever calls back first gets the job.
  • Proof of residence is asked on every lockout, so you know before you arrive whether you can open the door.
  • Door material and lock type (euro cylinder, mortice, multipoint) tell you which parts to bring.
  • The lock photo often shows the brand and size, so you can bring a matching cylinder.
  • After a break-in, the insurance and police details help the customer claim.

3Set it up#

  1. In your dashboard, open Business details, choose Locksmith as your industry and save. Your locksmith form is ready straight away, with the settings below in Settings.

  3. Settings → Prices & tax: add your call-out, lockout entry and common lock changes.
  4. Settings → Page texts: put your emergency number in the help box and say which hours you cover.

Price emergencies by call-out and entry, and planned work by lock, fitted.

  • Lockouts: a call-out plus entry, more out of hours.
  • Lock changes and new locks: a fitted price per lock.
  • Rekeying and keys: a price per lock or key.
  • Break-ins: securing or boarding up, then the repair.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
