Why these questions

  • The area, drawn on the map or typed, gives you the volume straight from the request.
  • What it will carry (people, cars, heavy vehicles or a building) sets the thickness and reinforcement.
  • Truck access is the biggest hidden cost: a pump or barrows is flagged.
  • Removing the old surface is flagged, so you can add breaking out and waste removal.
  • Foundations and retaining walls are flagged: they may need plans, engineering or permits.

3Set it up#

  1. In your dashboard, open Business details, choose Concrete as your industry and save. Your concrete form is ready straight away, with the settings below in Settings.
  2. Settings → Prices & tax: add your prices per area for groundwork, slabs and finishes, plus the pump and waste removal.
  3. Form fields: remove projects you don't take on (for example foundations or indoor floors).
  4. Settings → Page texts: mention the finishes you offer and the areas you cover.

Recommended theme: Professional

A structured, businesslike page suits contractors and bigger projects; Classic is a friendlier alternative.

6Pricing your quote#

Price by area and thickness, plus groundwork, finish, access and waste.

  • Slabs and patios: per area, by thickness and finish.
  • Groundwork: excavation and sub-base per area.
  • Steps, footings and edging: per step or per length.
  • Access and waste: a pump day and skip or waste loads as needed.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
